Best news I've heard all week. https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/04/intl_business/us-uk-trade-truce/index.html
Islay malts are not my thing. Prefer Highland malts. Glenmorangie is high on my list with Macallan a close second. And, define "inexpensive".I never even noticed that the price went up. Lol!
My Lagavulin and my much cherished Laphroaig are still plentiful and inexpensive in my area. But hey, if the price goes down I won't complain!

The eye roll was aimed mostly at me. I've tried the "inexpensive" ploy with the CFO and somehow $40+ bottles of spirits fall into the "must be rationed" category.I like many of the malts. Highland and Spreysides are great, too.
Not sure I understand the eye-roll here, Doug. I never said any of these were dirt cheap, just that they were plentiful and inexpensive. Should I have said relatively inexpensive? None of the malts are dirt cheap that I'm aware of. Some are less expensive than others. Those would be what I call inexpensive.
