  1. Here's a few more shots from Ilwaco and a sailboat at Port Townsend from last year when Bill and I went out a boat searching for Puffins.

    This is a working Oyster barge coming back in with a load of oysters.

    All taken with a D2H and 17-55mm, except for the Oyster barge on that one
    D2X/500mm and the last shot was with the D2X/300.

  2. Hey! The sun does shine up there from time to time, huh! :biggrin:

    Nice series, Louie -- crisp, great color. I was about to ask what lens since the images are so well defined and then I read the last line. Given a good shooter, the 17-55 just produces, plain and simple.

  3. Thanks for taking a look Phil. JUST every now and again we'll see the sun, it's been pretty rare of late. I love the 17-55 lens. I actually do mostly bird photography so I don't use it that often but it's sweet that's for sure.
