  1. I had my 45th birthday yesterday, so actually, my sig would gave gained validity, but all the cheering was outmatched by the confirmation that my wife is going to have a baby  :)  :D

If this event is not going to force me into adulthood, nothing will.

Well, if it's going to be a boy, I will fall back to infantility as soon as he gets his first toy train

    Happy Birthday, Harry and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I have 3 children myself and I'm still wondering when I went from being a big kid to having little ones.

Here's wishing you all the best of luck and a pregnancy for your wife as easy as my wife's 3 (no morning sickness, no nothing).

Yes, I would say CONGRATULATIONS are indeed due. And on a side note,
    Happy Birthday.
  6. That's a whole lot of celebrating to pack into one birthday! Congrats on the baby. My birthday is this week and I CERTAINLY hope I DON'T get that news!! LOL

Hope everything goes well for you and the missus. Cheers, Sandi
  7. That is absolutely marvellous news. Pam and I are really really pleased for you both. Having BOTH parents as specialists in BEETLES it is perfectly obvious that your daughter or son will become Vegetable Spotter.[ ie a CAULI-OPTOMETRIST/

A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY you old devil.

PS. A cauli is an English expression for a Cauliflower.

    Happy Birthday Harry and congratulations!

I don't think I'll attempt to enlighten Paul on how these things happen, although I've heard it often involves alcohol, a bicycle, three umbrellas and a wetsuit. Then again that might just be me visiting the wrong websites. ;)

  10. Happy b-day!

Wow I'm 26 years old, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's okay to talk to 18 year old girls? :p
  11. What a great birthday present! Is this your first?

Now you'll find there are even better uses for a camera than bug-pics 8).
  12. I too had my last child at age 45. A sobering thought. Happy birthday dad.
  13. My friends, I'm overwhelmed! Such a warm and friendly response. That's a perfect conclusion to this already exciting birthday weekend.
    Thanks to all!

Cheers to you and your wife!

I wish you happy birthday but I won't give you a present since you got the best you could receive with that new. All the best to your family :)
  16. Great news Harry, and a belated birthday too! :)  :D

Wow!! Congratulations! Someone said it right, got gear? We have an empty nest finally. That start's a whole new lifestyle!
  18. Happy B'day and CONGRATS!

I hear ya about falling back into infantility if it's a boy when the first train set follows. :D

LOL, Frank! So very true! :D  Indeed, this was my fun-poking suggestion for Rich when he asked for help on learning restraint regarding the D2X. :D  Certainly works for me.

Hmmm... I'm thinking we have enough w/ two already, and I was only 30 when we had the 2nd one -- a bit sooner than we planned. It's funny though. All my life, I'm always late (or barely on time at best), rarely ever early. But that didn't stop us from having both kids a year or two sooner than we were thinking (on both occasions).

Again, congrats, and enjoy that glow about your wife. I loved the pregnancy part although my wife didn't always like it as much as I did. And of course, your own baby is gonna always be adorable to you (even if everyone else might not think so ) .

And oh, I bet your avatar pic will change soon enough -- perhaps even before the baby arrives if you have scanner for those future sonograms. And at some point down the line, might look something like the one I have right now. :D

    Congrats again!
