I'm stumped. Can't get Yongnuo trigger to fire the flash heads -- SOLVED

I'm using a Yongnuo 560 TX II trigger mounted on the Nikon Z6 hot shoe. It won't fire the Yongnuo 560 III flash heads when releasing the shutter. They fire just fine when pressing the trigger's TEST button.

Similarly, when I mount the trigger on an off-camera hot shoe connected by wire to my drop art kit's controller, the trigger doesn't fire the flash heads. That's despite that it worked fine doing that yesterday.

I'm completely stumped. Any ideas?

My wife, who knows absolutely nothing about triggers and flash heads, figured it out. She suggested changing the the trigger's batteries, thinking that maybe they had enough power to fire the flash heads using the TEST button but not enough power to communicate with either the camera's hot shoe or the off-camera hot shoe. Sure enough, changing the batteries solved the problem.

I wouldn't have thought of that in a million years, so hopefully this information helps others!

Oh no! The wife solved your problem! I know that one......
I have been bit in the backside before by weak batteries...more often than I care to admit. Some will even test OK on a voltmeter but then not really have the power to work the device 100%.
