In flight tight maneuvering GBH's

[Louis Champan]

Spent part of Friday morning watching a number of GBH's going about their nesting building. They were coming and going all morning, with about 6 nests in the general area. In watching them they did some very tight flight maneuvering to get in and around some of the branches and in some cased flew right into them.

All of these shots were taken with a D2H and 300mm, handheld.
