  1. ...beyond the bridges :)
All of this is in walking distance from where we live.

Ending with some flower shots. Dates from May 1st.
I was exploring an old m42 lens, Carl Zeiss 50mm Tessar f/2.8, similar optical formula as the Nikkor 45mm f/2.8 Ai-P.

  2. Such a nice environment where you live! The second photo is really special for me. Very nice framing of the mansion.

Bart, it must be cool to be able step out of your very nice mansion and have such beauty around you to capture!

  4. You live in a very nice place Bart. My fav is #2.

  5. Very much appreciated, Mike, Dayo and Binnur!
    Thank you!

By the way, the mansion in #2 is not my house :)
We live in a somewhat (= a lot) more humble house.
    But indeed in enjoyable surroundings.

  6. Hopefully not as humble as #4 :D

  7. Somewhere in between.
But relatively speaking, closer to #4 :)

Lovely neighborhood! It is wonderful to have many photographic opportunities almost in one's backyard.

Never mind, I am sure it would be a pain to keep it heated in winter anyway.

  10. Nice series--the first few look very vaguely familiar, in a general sort of way.

  11. Indeed.
This manor is in fact a restaurant and is also available for weddings and family parties and such.
    Probably properly renovated :)
A link to the photog gallery from their website: Kasteel Nobelstede ~ Restaurant
(website itself is in Dutch of course)

    Thank you, Merlin and Nick!
    Really appreciated!
Not nearly as impressive as your backyard though :)

Not all that different from the images in my previous series on Bellem. Stands to reason, only some 5 miles away.
