Nice shot Mike. The relected light on the underside adds a lot of impact.

I have a similar shot, taken from a spot a little farther to the left, that I've never been too happy with. It shows the guard rails around the flight deck and, while I understand why they're there given the ships current use, they really don't seem appropriate for a war ship.

Thanks for the "this is how it should look shot". It gives me some ideas for the next time I'm there.

Once again, a heart-felt thank-you all for your very kinds comments.... as it turned out, this shot was not planned or even prepped... as I was driving our little boat closer to the Midway I saw the potential of this shot, fired up the G-10 held it over the windshield and snapped a few frames.... this was about the only good one of the bunch.
