Inexpensive Pelican Case Alternative

Looks perfect for storage. Much better than having stuff sitting on a shelf. However, if you plan on taking equipment out in to any sort of dusty, wet, bumpy environments, I'd think again.
That looks like what I need to store my cords, chargers, cleaning equipment, etc.

Stumbled across an inexpensive (but effective for my needs) alternative to pricey Pelican storage cases:

$24.95 at Lowe's and appears to be available online. The dividers are definitely flimsy but the foam works just fine.

If you intend to use one of these for cameras and lenses, I would rip out the supplied foam and buy foam that is designed for cameras and lenses. You never know what kind of nasty off gassing and residue deposits that cheap stufff will put on your lenses.

You might also check for suggestions and hints among astronomy groups. That's another bunch of folks with little money and lotsa' precious optical glass to take care of.
