Wow these are great, I have never heard of this type of photography. Research made for some interesting reading last night.

I used to use infrared film years ago. I don't think they make it anymore. Digital makes it easier to do. You can start out with a special filter on your lens. But, because of the slow speed, you need to use a tripod. You also need to compose your image and then put the filter on, since you can not see through it.
