Insect ID please

  1. Insect ID please? I bought some water hyacinth from on line. I am not sure if this fellow came with them or not. Location Litchfield, CT

    I'm not an entomologist, but I'm going to say that looks like an Assassin Bug Nymph. Sorry, can't give you a genus and species.
     
  3. The legs do not look very "assassinoid". I think it is a very young nymph of a Coreid Bug, but a different species as the one this thread.

  4. Assisin bug was my first thought too, although the ones we have are red-bodied with black legs...I think.
