    Thanks to everyone for looking. I must admidt that I am lusting for a macro with a little more length. maybe even as mutch as 150mm. but would also like the benifit of VR.

    if you are lusting for a bit more length, the Sigma 150mm/2.8 APO DG HSM Macro is a fine lens, I own one I should know:)
