A wonderful cafe member has loaned me his 85 1.4, 50 1.4, and 35 2 to try out for a while. I would love to be inspired by some of your fast glass shots. Seeing your best photos with these (and other fast) lenses would help give me ideas to best try out these lenses while I have them.

So please show me your best. Hopefully this thread will interest others who are looking to shoot with fast primes.:biggrin:

  2. What? No takers so far?

I know it's not a night or low-light shot at f/2 but the lens qualifies

Here's a couple I've posted before. I know you shoot a lot of children so I figured I'd throw some of those out there.

A candid shot while sitting by an outdoor cafe in Vegas:

A shot of me by my wife:

    My Nephew Luke:

I will admit, fast glass is VERY addicting!

These are some great examples. I love the fact that you can see some details of the room, although they are nicely blurred.

Morgan, Thanks so much. I especially like the one of Luke. I am getting a new grandson in September and am looking for faster lenses to photograph him and my other grandchildren with.
