I use HP support the programme and it sometimes misses key upgrades.
You need to go to the support website and manually enter your laptop serial number or model and OS.
Then you will get the list of all upgrades.
For your laptop I found about 30-40.
Not all are applicable.
It could be that unless you upgrade the BIOS and the SSD firmware and drivers it will never work.
Fingers crossed that it will though.

But the links are for your model, so they are what you need.
I see it is 7 years old, so it isn't surprising the website doesn't mention Windows 10.
(If this was a Mac you would be told it was "vintage" and time to throw it in the skip.)

You simply select Windows 8.1, 64 bit. Then you can get the latest BIOS. F.67 Rev A, made in 2018.

It is the extend volume wizard.
Select the partition you want to extend.
The wizard will tell you what the max size is based on the unused space available.
Press ok.
Done
