Papa Tony (papa85) and I braved the cold today to do some shooting. As you can see, he is sporting the lastest high-tech digicam from the Land of the Rising Sun...the Nikon D200 with vertical grip option. For an older guy, he photographs quite well!!!

What were we shooting????? Well, we ended up at the Pratt Woods Forest Preserve and walked out onto the frozen lake to shoot guys ice fishing. We had a nice chat with a couple of guys who were trying to catch some Crappie or Bluegill...but had no luck. So, we were feeling the effects of Mother Nature's cruel joke (winter) and headed to Panera Bread for a warm bowl of soup and a sandwich. Before leaving the preserve, Tony did get a few images of a cute little dog and a possum.

Now that is a hat Frank..
  10. It must be very cold, but looked like you two were having fun.

And what a nice hat
  11. Nice to see you, too, Tony! Gosh, seeing you guys braving the cold is making me feel a little guilty for hibernating lately....I'm just not into the cold and snow this year!
