With all the rain we've been having here lately, I just had to get out to shoot something today after the sun finally made an appearance. I was planning on shooting the flowers at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga County with my non-IR D300, but found after I got there that nothing was in bloom yet. :frown:

Luckily I also packed my IR-converted D80. So I decided to walk around the pond and stream outside the Gardens to see if I could find something interesting. Here's what I came up with:

1. The Pond.

2. I don't usually shoot running water with my IR-camera, especially since I don't have a bracket to attach it to my tripod. But I thought that I'd experiment a bit.

Obviously all of these have been color channel-swapped. I would appreciate comments/criticisms on the processing - particularly on the sharpening (too much/not enough?) and on the colors.

Thanks!

Love 2 and 3! Great series :) I think that number 4 would be a little stronger in composition if the flower (lower left) would have been framed just a bit higher. But still a good photo!
