IR filter costs

Discussion in 'Night, InfraRed, and UltraViolet Photography' started by Mitchell, Oct 19, 2005.

  1. Can anyone explain the cost differential between different size Hoya R72 filters?
    67mm = $80

    77mm = $283!!!

    This seems insane to me. There must be a cheaper option!

    The ones Harrison&Harrison make are more economical than that. His are the wratten version, in glass. Nicely crafted with a good price.
