Just be careful, you never know what the D2X is capable of when jealousy kicks in.

shooting side by side d200 need more of my tweeking

I dont see a hue adjustment like the d2x maybe tomorrow I get it dialed in
  10. Love it!!! I will have to wait until Springtime. Please share side by side photos and stuff!
  11. Now get ready to go behind the camera...

And then, check out the way you "wired" your strap. Not sure you did as indicated - this way, it might tend to slip out slowly.

  12. OK.... I monkeyed with it the camera is safe

Well just shot a couple with the 17-55 and onboard flash....
    What do you see........

without lens shade flash still hits the lens

the lens and shade vignettes forground...
  13. Kind of a serious shadow. May need to try to remember bounce flash with that lens? Disappointing, I am sure.
  14. I have never used a camera with a pop up flash... so I'm glad to test for my self and share what works and does not work

it might have said something in the BOOK... that I did not read.. I like pictures not words :)

and you can see the 17mm is nearly level... so I'm not giving a bad example of the flash limits

Actually, you would have seen much the same with the D100 pop-up flash. It's handy for some limited fill-flash, as well as assisting in indoors work, but a lens with any girth or length pretty much resulted in a shadow on the lower part fo the frame.

    Wasn't a problem when I tested that 45mm P, however.
