I'm considering taking ON1's upgrade offer to Photo2017 however, I'm not sure how well it will run on my aging PC. or if it will run at all.

Minimum processor requirements are listed as: Intel Core 2 Duo, Xeon or better processor(s)

My PC's processor is the "Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad-Core" .

So, does my processor meet the minimum requirements?

Thanks!

I would say it does. That said, there might be an issue with the OS, lot's of newer things will only work on Win7 or higher, some require newer OS than that.

Yes, but what about the rest of your PC.
Which version of Windows? (Must be 7 or later)
32 or 64 bit Windows? (Must be 64 bit).
How much memory? (Must be 4GB or more, and 8GB if used as a plugin).

Sounds to me like a good excuse to buy a new PC with an i7 processor and get rid of the old clunker?

The rest of the PC is fine. Windows 7 64-bit, 6 Gigs Ram (maxed out).

A new PC just isn't in the cards for me right now.

Thanks.

ON1 2017.1 is dog slow on my i7, 12gig and SSD. Try before you buy. It's too bad because it seems like a good program.
