It doesn't take much to make him happy

I met him on the way up to In Dein monastery at Inle Lake, Myanmar. He is the caretaker at the temple grounds and stays with his blind wife in a dilapidated wooden hut there. It reminds me of what little things one actually needs to be happy.

Thank you all!

I met them there the year before and I made it a point to pay them a visit again this time. The husband was a bit under the weather when I took these photos. They do not have any children and they depend on the kindness of the nearby villagers whenever he cannot go to work. I did my share on both times I met them. :wink:
