  14. Ok, here are a few. I think this lens (for me) will really shine when I'm doing portraits. But these were just shots I took today at random.

    First up, here I am! :biggrin:

    Of course you can't go to the Science Museum without seeing this big boy!

    And of course the largest White Castle in the US


    Me TRYING to get a picture of the lens and hood. heh, not very good.

    Thanks for the image of that gorgeous lens. I've read that the lens hood is twice as thick as earlier hoods. Sorry for the slow respons I had some brain fade and couldn't find the thread.


  19. Hi Ted,

    I got to shoot with a 24-70mm the other day and had to configure a bag to accommodate the lens and hood. The hood is a massive sucker!

    It makes packing it and finding the right space a bit of a PITA but well worth it. :wink:
