Alternatively, you could use software that automatically uses the correct copyright year when embedding that information in the file. It works like a charm.
However, be aware that in America, the correct copyright date has nothing to do with when the image was captured; it has to do with when it was first published for public viewing.

I've never put the year into my copyright.

Gryphon, I’m in Houston, TX and we have had some gullywashrrs over the last 24 hours (but it did lay off some around midnight for the noisemakers) my 2 cats got too spooked to join me in bed until sometime after I fell asleep. The were beside me when I woke up around 7:15 this morning.
