Ixia - 50mm +2 close-up

  1. Just trying out my new 50mm 1.8D and B&W +2 close-up attachment combination.

    Comments and feedbacks most welcome.

    Lens : AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 D + B&W +2 Close-up Filter

    The 50mm is surprisingly decent given the price point, I bought it primarily as a portrait lens (75mm effectively), but have also got the close-up attachment for macro, and a reversing ring to try out some close encounters with critters - will need plenty of coaching from kramp first though I think :smile:

  4. Just wondering what type of attachment you got for your 50 mm??
  5. Hi Warren,

    The attachment is a B+W NL2 Close Up Lens, providing +2 diopter. I have the +3 diopter as well, and can be stacked together to give +5. Will give these combinations a try at some point.

    Every bag has a 50 mm right :>)) Great lens.

    Thought Warren would get right on this. See Warren now you don't need that 60 mm macro :>)

    I think Nikon has those close ups to don't they.
