    Hey all,

Just got a D80 (my first DSLR) and these are my first two pictures I'm putting up on the Cafe, so I hope you will like them.

Dog-sitting Burns, a good friend's dog, for the week. Here he is in my backyard.

Please let me know what you think of them. :)

an improvement (i hope) on the second picture:

  3. Very nice, he looks like a long-legged jack russell, or maybe the ones around me seems shorter, smaller?

I like your crop in the 2nd shot.

You are really going to enjoy the D80. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos!
  4. Hi Roger (I hope that is your name)...
Nice shots, and the crop on the 2nd one is a big improvement...
The D80 is a great camera, and I'm sure this is just the beginning... ;o))

thanks for the comments guys. i'll be getting an 18-70mm in soon so that'll be better for these types of shots.

the D80 is definitely fun to play with. i need to find more subject matter!
  7. cute dog
    you are doing well
remember that TAKING THE PICTURE is only HALF the work to get these images to show us

post-processing is needed to get the most out of your digital photography
with a little bit of pp work.... these images would be even better
