Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Louis Champan, Aug 17, 2008.

  1. Bear with me, just one more round of landscape shots from my recent MC trip. These were taken about 10 miles outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Teton Mountain range in the background.

I really like those pictures, it must have been nice to take those
in person, I love #1 &2, I would hang them on the wall.

    Thanks for sharing,
  6. Fantastic interpretations!
  7. And you said before you don't do landscapes. Feh!
    Great set!
  8. Thanks for commenting. I know, this was the wrong shot that got in here somehow.
  9. Wonderful. I've seen that fence many times, just never thought to make it the subject and have the mountains be the OOF background. I like them. Hope you enjoyed your trip. I live about 2 hours away from where you took the photos. We get there often.
  10. Spectacular scenery and great shots, Louis.

The first 5 are killers for me.
  13. Beautiful series...
  14. Very nice scenes and compositions.

I'd recommend matching the saturation on all of them. Some appeared more saturated than others.
  15. Louie, more wonderful shots here. I like the mountains behind the fence shot. I am surprised how much snow is still on the mountain tops.
  16. Real nice. I like the soft light in these. Very painterly. More please.

Land of the late Hunter S. Thompson. It would have been much more dangerous there ten years ago! If the place in reality is half as beautiful as your Photos, I can see why he lived there!
