Third year, I expect to post only images from one lens each month. This month it is the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 on the Gx8:

Thank you, I'm sure that ship spends a lot of time in Alaskan waters just like the boats from "Deadliest" Catch from the Seattle area.

Very good shots Jeff. I love the looks of the fort. Great place to visit and photograph.

Really love the ship picture. Very contrasting colors!

Thanks all, liked it also, but it was with the 75-300 II and wanted to save that lens for birding and macro images (with Canon 500D).

Hey Jeff,
that shot of the ship is fantastic.
Looks a little like an old landing ship from the Navy.

Regards

Thanks Klaus. It's a fishing boat like you see on the reality show "The Deadliest Catch".....looks like I would not want to be in a Bearing Sea storm in that one:)

Jeff, glad to see you're going to highlight the 12-35 this month. I love shipyard environment shots, and this is a fine one with the sun warming the broadside of the boat. Or is it large enough to refer to as a ship?

The fort is interesting and a bit scary! Built into the hillside? The Smiling Ship is wonderful!
It's built into a berm and is sighted so it over looks the mouth of the Columbia River. Next week I have videos and stills of the guns done with the 12-35mm but I have a imaging session for this week so I might post them as "bonus" stuff....thank you.

Well it a pretty big boat, but that is a ship in the background (about 1/2 mile away):) Ivan thank you.
