I've re-evaluated my decision to do just a monthly. The weekly really kept me doing photography and so I decided to do another 52 week. My theme will be "old". This may be old images I have yet to LR/PS from raw, or new images I taken in that theme. 2015 has started out very good with a meet-up photo shoot on Dec. 31st and Today. Two new imges -Doors were taken with my EP5 & Shower with my D7100.

The shower and door look great. I like the theme, these two old things look brand new! I guess everything old was new once ... :)

I'm glad you converted your project!

Nice Jeff. I really like the framing and detail on the door shot. That's an interesting looking shower. Just for display or is it used?

Thanks Chris, Larry, Art for the kind comments.

The Doors are from a hotel/bar that was a school started in 1915 - so they are still in use. The shower is from the a house that is now display only (from the 1800's).

Glad you decided to stay and play, Jeff. Other than the occasional meme, this is my favorite place to post on the Cafe... because of the people as well as the photos.

Thanks Les, Frank, and Morten - it's too easy not to shoot, especially in the Oregon wet winter.

Yehaw! Jeff is back in 52 weeks project. I would have missed him...

The shower is inspiring. Especially if you know that I have to renovate my bathroom this year.

Thanks a lot Jeff

What beautiful doors! I love the old shower with a Christmas wreath hanging from it. I wonder how that thing actually works.

Very good decision, Jeff, on doing the weekly series. And I love old doors, so your first image really resonates with me. And what an interesting second photo - a wreath hanging from a shower; very unusual!!

My wife has some silver objects (inherited from a famous family member) made in the 1800's, here is one. This is a five shot layer stacking in CC2014:

Nice work Jeff. The silver piece is beautiful and would be rather difficult to capture so nicely.

Thank Art, I was pretty lazy and did this with the SB800 and diffuser bounced off the ceiling. These have the artist marks on them and some day we will find their history.

Very interesting silver object and great shot of it Jeff
Thanks Morten, staying on theme for two weeks, that must be a record for me:)
