Putting these here because I used my 55 micro, but technically, these are just closeups. One thing I found, jellyfish just don't stay still!!! Not sure what kind they are, but I like them!

Very nice Shaun. These are beautiful images. Great note cards or wall hangings.

Nice set. Tried that once. Yours came out better.

Thank you Alex. I was pleasantly surprised at how many good ones I got, considering I'm not that good with MF lenses. The D700's high ISO capabilties never cease to amaze me, though.

Thanks Art! I wouldn't have thought of the note cards, but I am enjoying using a few of these as my desktop backgrounds.

Great shots Shaun! I love the first - the clarity & color are great.

2 questions - 1) did you have the lens to the glass and wait for them? 2) Were you using a flash or just the display lights?

These are great, just like the first ones you posted...!

My fave of this batch is the second...!

Thank you William! I appreciate that.

Thanks, Chad. I had the lens right up to the glass. I tried pre-focusing, but that didn't work to well, so I single out the fish I wanted, and just MF'd until I got the shot. No flash. That's why I'm so amazed at the quality of these with the ISO's I had to shoot at (1000-2000). I love the D700!!!
