  1. Went to john Heinz NWR located within Philadelphia city limits, me and the kids only had a short time late in the day but this place has great promise. Saw a few GBH's a lot of Commornats, gulls, ducks and geese and we only walked about 1/4 mile. Will have to go back when there is more light and more time to explore.

Great shots, and light is just beautiful.. Sure takes his blue away though doesnt it. Just shows how they blend with nature.

Very nice, Mike. I went there this summer and didn't find all that much, so I'm glad to know that it's worth a trip back. Isn't it weird to be taking a photo of a GBH with 747s flying overhead and the city skyline in the background?
