I picked up the film camera with the Ektachrome E100 I started in December 2020 in July 2021. Talking about a hiatus ...

First a shot in the garden. The grasses shouldn't be in the lavender bed of course but I liked these and how they picked up the light.
So I left them there, all through the season :)

Later that month, off to a walk in Astene, along a side arm of a river.

Nice, those canals make me want to take a kayak vacation. How long are they?.

How many film cameras do ya' have loaded?
For the moment, two. One with b&w Berlin 400 kino and one with Lomography Color Negative 100.
Both containing some leftover frames waiting to be finished.

The sluice and the first view are a river called Leie. Can be used for well over 60 Km where it flows into the Scheldt, in Ghent. That goes on to Antwerp where it turns back East and flows into the North Sea.
We have a fair amount of rivers and canals over here. The map is from a site for kayaking

The second one is pretty short. I have no idea how this is called in English but we refer to this kind of waterway as a "dead arm", a part of the river that was taken out of the normal flow with the intend to get a straighter riverbed.
Quite a lot of those around.

Cool, I bet there are lots of Inn's and B&B along the way as well. So many things to do, so little time
