Junior High Volleyball...

I captured some photos of my niece's 7th/8th grade volleyball match last night. As usual, the gymnasium wasn't lit all that well. I used my D700 and 200 f/2 with an exposure of 1/640th @ f/2, ISO 2500 for most of the shots.

No flash Glen? Obviously you are a master with or without it. As has been said, love the high angle. Were their bleachers at the end of the end or did they have a second level in the gym?

I didn't try flash for this event. With volleyball, the players are usually looking up towards the ceiling--and I didn't want a burst of flash to interfere with a play.

I was able to get up on a walking track which is positioned above the court for these shots.
