i just wonder how much stress it puts on the mounts of each of the teleconverters and the camera with all the weight added to the rig. hmmm.

It's not recommended that anyone else try this at home. :biggrin: There is definitely stress being put on each TC mount as well as the camera, but it sure can deliver awesome results.

Fabulous! 11.8 pounds isn't so bad. It's hikeable if you need to get away from the city lights.
Unfortunately, there's nowhere in Ohio that you can get away from city lights without driving for several hours into the southern part of the state. I was ~35miles outside of Cleveland, and there was still way too much light pollution.
