I will depart slightly from what other members have just said. Yes, the light is great. It is a nice shot.
I have learned that as important as a bird could be it is also important the environment surrounding the bird. What I am saying is that I scout the area I am going to photograph and will take a picture like this but also I will try to incorporate more of the environment in others so that the viewer will be better made aware of the usual habitat of the bird. Many times, that has been my experience, making the bird smaller and capturing more of the background ends up being a better photograph.
This is just my taste and technique for your consideration.
