I bought that lens used last year and this was the first time I really used it. Gotta' say, that 300/2.8 is sweet - but HEAVY! LOL!

Yep.....tried a monopod, but the monopod just seemed too awkward. Tracking and keeping focus on BIF is new to me...this was good practice!

I had a sore arm for a couple of days! LOL!

I was so excited to be out shooting, I guess the adrenaline helped me wave about 10 lbs in the air! LOL!
