Just a Test (color added)

  1. I picked up a Coolscan V today. This is just a test shot. I think I'm going to like this scanner. Great shadow detail. Love that 4.0 dmax! :biggrin:

  2. I have one of those next to my Epson.

    I find it works great for color (so I would guess chromogenic black and white too) but I never scanned a black and white negative to my satisfaction. Maybe I never found the right settings.

    I do love the slide feeder, even if it is one at a time.

    Nice photos too.

  6. Actually, it was a pretty straight scan which produced a slightly flat image in PS. So I applied a little levels and curves adjustment and there it was!

    Oh and one more scan of an old, color neg. My two daughters telling secrets.
