A few shots I've taken in and around the city in b/w. I'm new to the digital camera age. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

What's that huge rock formation in front of the Rockerfeller Center?

When I was there for the orchid show, there just happen to be this large boulder on display in front of Rockerfeller Center. So I thought it was kind of ideal to capture "The Rock" as though it was coming out of the rock formation. The Rock Rising!

    cool!

  5. Hey Mark! I like the third shot but it could use a bit of sharpening. The only reason I bring this up is that you mentioned you were new to digital photography and sharpening is one thing you'll have to do - especially if you're shooting RAW with the D200.

Very Nicely Done. It is always nice to see another viewpoint of my backyard. When I saw that 'rock' in Rockefeller Center a few weeks ago, all I could do is laugh. :)
