Just loving my 85 f1.4

    Now, I'm not as good as many here, but I'm loving my one month old 85 f1.4. My grand-nephew was over again tonight so I used it on him.

    Great shot, but man this forum is hard on the NAS or LLD(and consequently hard on the wallet:biggrin:, whatever it is, I have it.

    how do u like your 70-300vr on your d3?
    ...and why no super-fast-glass in your bag of trix?
    u owe it to yourself to at least pick up a 50 1.8, if just for giggles ..lol

    The 70-300VR is great on the D3. In fact I like all of my lenses better on the D3. I've got the 85 1.4, but never really liked the 50mm 1.8 on the D3. The bokeh of the 105 f2 and the 85 1.4 are a tough act to follow:smile:
