I've been trying to get some good shots of this guy for a few days but he's always been too far away. He was hanging around just behind my fence today waiting on his parents to bring him some breakfast. Funny to watch -- he dances around and plays with anything loose on the ground, then chases the ducks and geese -- basically having a good time. As I've watched him in the past week or so, he loses a little more of the feathers from his head each few days and is starting to get harder to tell from his parents. He's almost as big as they are but still begs for food! Here are a couple from today -

Gale, I was thinking about you as I was taking these shots! Bryan -- They're ugly, but interesting to watch!

Don,

First time I've ever heard of a vulture begging. I thought they just waited around for something to die.

Nice shots.
