Juvenile Waxwing

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Anthony747, Aug 18, 2008.

  1. Not a great shot but I've never seen a juvenile waxwing before and had no idea what I shot until I got home. Thanks for looking!

    Equipment: D300, 300mm f/4 and 1.4TC

  2. I have never seen one of these either and I have been trying to. Well done Anthony
  3. Great closeup on one of my nemesis birds.
  4. Lucky you. I only see these birds when I have no long lens or no camera at all. I have been trying to lure them to my property, but no luck.
  5. Thanks Dave, Warren and Birgit!
  6. Neat I have never seen one
  7. That is a Great Capture, I also have never seen one that I know of!!!
  8. That's cool, never seen one either. Where's the Osprey?

Nice shot, Anthony! It funny that after I seen your picture the very next day I seen a juvenile one too.
  10. Nice shot. I've been looking for the Waxwings at the Celery Farm in Allendale, NJ, but haven't seen them there this year. A very pretty bird.
