Discussion in 'Formal Portraits and Weddings' started by Bryan Pritchard, Oct 3, 2008.

  1. My Beautiful Niece 22 one of my victims in my new studio. Im using Elinchrom 600RX's 41" White reflectors and these were done with one light and a large white reflector comments welcome please

  2. Pretty girl. Nice shots as well. I can never seem to get one light setups to work for me using off camera flash or strobes. You've done a great job with these.
  3. Thanks man!! I actually had a large reflector to her right and the main 600RX at 45 degrees to her left...Its hard to get it right but It worked on thes by the way these were shot between 12 and 3am :)  we got bored LOL
  4. Some more PIcs

Some More of my daughters Friend who is recording in Nashville

Also used my favorite Lens the 85mm 1.4 LOVE THIS LEN!!!!

My 14 year old daughter Lauren :)

  5. Gorgeous shots, I realize its tough to have everything you need but I think a hair light would've helped with b/g separation in #1. Maybe post them a little larger next time too. Tough to make out detail at that size.
    Beautiful young lady.
  6. I want to get a Hairlight I have 2 Elinchrom 600 RX's and they are $$$$$$$$ any other ideas you can recomend?

Hi, Bryan -- you've done a nice job with all of the images that you've posted here. Nice soft lighting & attractive subjects, too!

yea, i was going to say hairlight too... but I love everything about these images!

Sometimes when I don't have a hairlight, I make a stamp layer and use a 3% dodge tool on highlight and pull some highlights out of the model's hair, especially near the crown... just adds a bit of spark.

I love the color depth all these have. Dare I say Canonesqe? Is that just good lighting, lens and camera or a little push with PP?
