Was coming back from Mission Marsh looking for newly arrived fowl-weathered friends and spotted this little guy perched on a pussy willow branch and being buffeted around by the wind. Didn't have time to set up the tripod so shot these braced against my vehicle at 700mm. ( 500 vrII with a 1.4 tc)

Hope they came out ok. I'm just pumped because I've been hoping to see a kestrel for years now:biggrin::biggrin:

Bohdan,

Was the car running when you shot this? The vibration may have caused these shots' softness.
They are all soft.

Beautiful shots Bohdan. The first one is great. Seen them many times but never gotten a shot as good as these because they're always perched so high.
