Kestrel Update

  1. All 3 Chicks have left the nest and are on their own now and almost never return to nest tree. I saw them this morning in a staging tree used by parents to stage before coming to the nest. Here are a couple of birds showing off for the camera this morning. Rather dark and overcast this morning but here goes.

Good to hear that the little chicken chick finally came out. Guess s/he got hungry enough to overcome the fear of falling 60 feet.

    Very nice set.

    Gary,

I know that most of the time we wish for bright conditions like we were yesterday but that first YCNH image is spectacular! The soft lighting, for where he was perched, is perfect to bring out the colors and detail. A winner in every sense of the word my friend!

  11. Looking good Gary, Sounds like you guys had a great time and good photos to boot.
