Well, when you have 3 bouncing kids in the van and the camera is on a bean bag, and the motor is left running, you ain't gonna get a good sharp shot! I didn't! LOL! There'll be another time!

I'm not sure What is Hagerman? And Why are you shooting out of the Van?

Well, the last time we were at Hagerman Wildlife Refuge, we saw a huge snake! I think it was a rattler but couldn't get a good enough pic of it. We usually have the van turned off and depending on where we are, I get out and use the tripod. In some cases, there wasn't enough standing room without getting wet - in the lake. I love going up there! The Ranger's Station has a board where they list the current sightings for unusual visitors. They had spotted a Mississippi Kite Saturday, but we didn't get to see it! If you or anyone ever wants to go up there with us, just Holler!
