Kingfisher in flight - Why do I try?

    Because it's a challenge? Or am I just a glutton for punishment? Have you ever noticed how much their call sounds like mocking laughter?

  7. It doesn't sound like mocking laughter - it IS mocking laughter!

    I swear those evil wee creatures can sense focus-lock from my camera - they fly away even as I press the suhtter at 800mm!
