Week 09 - City of Blaubeuren

My friends, I'm trying to close the gap now...

On February 24th Cheryl and I were visiting the city of Blaubeuren near Ulm.
It is famous for its spring of river Blau (Blue).

But look at that color by yourself....

(2) Wonderful framework

(3) And finally - the spring

(4) The color is caused by cretaceous water.

Love the architecture. Clear water. Looks like a wonderful spot.

Week 13 - Flowers at Karbach Valley

Near the city of Wangen is a wonderfully natural valley with a creek.
Many wild flowers are growing there.
I beg you pardon, but I've missed the blooming of the spring snowflakes...

(1) Anemones

Week 15 - Along the road

While it was getting boring around I took the car and drove through the back country...
Stopping at a pond near Neuravensburg I made some great experiences:

(1) Fuzzy birds. I didn't noticed the right one. But at home, looking to the monitor...

What an interesting and scenic environment you have around you, Klaus! Lots of opportunities to shoot! The mountains in the background -- wow.....

I would've taken one look at that snake and gone running as fast as I could away from him -- eeeeek!! Good job you discovered that tick before it could burrow under your skin and cause you problems! Yikes!

It's great to have you back with us again -- you were definitely missed while you were gone!

She's darling! Are you all staying together during this COVID-19 pandemic, or have stay-at-home orders been lifted where you live?
Hi Connie,
we're allowed to meet up to 5 persons. The infection rate is very low (0.79). Gale, Emma's mom is working at a dentist, the babysitter may not take Emma.

Cheryl and me are tested several times - negative.

About the "darling" - I'll let Emma know
Klaus

That's great that you are able to spend time with Emma and that the infection rate is so low in your area! It will be a while yet before in the DC area we begin to loosen up on some of the current restrictions, as there are still too many people falling ill and being hospitalized. No one wants to open up things too soon and then have a backlash and severe surge of more illness.
