Actually, in our family photo albums there is a rather intriguing shot of me, around age one or two, toddling around the front yard of my grandparents' lakefront summer cottage, and I'm walking directly towards, hands and arms outreached, a bench where someone had left a bottle of beer.....!!! No idea if the bottle were in fact empty or if there were still beer in it, but presumably someone other than the person snapping the photo (probably my mother?) hastened to grab either me or the bottle before I actually reached it! LOL!

As I type this I am happily sipping on a glass of beer right now. I guess my love of it started really early, even before I'd tasted the stuff!

Week 09 - City of Blaubeuren

My friends, I'm trying to close the gap now...

On February 24th Cheryl and I were visiting the city of Blaubeuren near Ulm.
It is famous for its spring of river Blau (Blue).

But look at that color by yourself....

Week 11 and 12 - While in cure

I was busy there - nearly no time to take pictures.

There's a swampy lake nearby with a pedestrian overpass...
