Lake George NSW Australia (panorama)

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by viewfinder, Oct 14, 2005.

  1. Nothing spectacular, just a simple panorama of Lake George taken on the way to Canberra.
Six images were used with about 40% overlap, hand held.

Lake George is all dried up now, since 2002 apparently. The lake is about a million years old,
and is about 25km x 10km in size. This is taken from a rest stop on the way to Canberra,
so there are some sign of civilization. On some section (not shown here) you can see
    sheep grazing as well.

It may not be spectacular for you, but for me it is simply stunning. Give me the sense of a peaceful place. Thanx for sharing.
