Lake Norman North Carolina, this afternoon

    Can't you wait until I'm off work to post these gorgeous photos! Gosh, it's hard enough not to jump up and head to the lake as it is. Great shooting, Randy. Super nice.

  3. I've only driven past Lake Norman on the interstate. It sure didn't look this good! Wonderful captures. Thanks for posting them Randy.

    Thanks again for allowing George and I to join you last Friday. I think we both had a great time, and I can't remember ever having the feeling that 300mm was too much lens for birding! Wow.

    Any thoughts on how the 70-200 compared with the 50-500 shots you got?
