Well took a break from some birds..trying this landscape thing..yuck:biggrin:
Well I went out this am for sunrise..the trees were pretty high however and by the time the sun was over them i felt most the gold was gone. I really like how they turned out in black and white though.. Your thoughts always appreciated. This is lake radnor in nashville Tennessee.

All shots taken on a monopod and with a 2stop grad ND filter. All i have is a wimberely on my tripod..oh my:biggrin:

Same sky new day:/ before sunrise

I saw birds in all but 2 shots above, cheating. I do like the perspective and depth of 1.

Thank you Doug! I also enjoy the depth in number 1..sadly nothing I could find suited the foreground for the others

These type shots are difficult to create to much interest. I've tried a few lake shots, and I always find them boring, or incomplete. I don't know why.

Don't judge your landscape skills by lake shots, there's just not much there to photograph.

    Your welcome too...
