Very nice images. Great interplay of colors, textures and abstract shapes. Like I said to you before, I wonder if others can see the genius of your work :)

BTW what hotel did you end stay in ?

    Thank you.

Even I fail to see it sometimes
I think I'm pretty good at seeing the potential for a photograph, but when I start processing it, it turns into a Genie's ***

I ended up at the "Mardi Gras Best Western" on Paradise Road.
It's close to the Convention Centre Mono Rail stop, so it's ideal.

I really liked your captures of the Las Vegas 'slums'. The pictures are very vibrant and colorful and you have a very good eye I have to say.

Very nice, good idea to post something else from the usual neon signs.

Thank you very much for all your comments

I took these with the D300 and either the Tamron 17-50 or Tokina 12-24.
I also have a Nikon 70-200VR which I also carry around and hardly use, it keeps me fit though

  12. Hand held?
I'll be there for a week in September

    Thank you Gnagel & DogFather

The truck show pics were hand held, but the others were taken with a tripod.
When I was taking photos inside Caesers Palace, Security stopped me and asked me who I was shooting for.
They said professional photography wasn't allowed.
But, when I explained I was just an amateur, they let me continue.

    I suppose a tripod = professional and a camera phone = tourist.
