Last Light

  1. I had intended to make this a BW from the start. No real color to speak of with the clouds and lighting anyway. I wanted to try a misty/ghost look.

    D200 1.6" f13 12-24 @ 12mm CP (standing in the VERY cold water)

    Beautiful shot! The foreground really add impact!

    Really great shot. I love the motion in the foreground, and the way those lines lead your eyes back into the scene. The fog/mist adds to the mysterious feel and also creates depth.

  16. Yes, it is Ruby Wade, thanks. Your feet must have been warm from a nice hot day. The water changes about 5 degrees from winter to summer. Goes from really really cold to just really cold :smile:

    Nice captures Wade, it is a very nice beach, one of my favorites on the Washington coast. The other being Second beach and another one I'm not telling anyone about or where it is :wink:
